Our Journey with Waterfall Farm
A New Chapter
Our story at Waterfall Farm begins with a need for change. After months of challenges, we found ourselves searching for a place that aligned with our mission of sustainability and regenerative farming. When the opportunity to move to Waterfall Farm in Citrusdal presented itself, it felt like the perfect next step—a space where nature thrives and our vision for circular agriculture could truly come to life.
Setting Up Our First Container Farm
From the moment we set foot on the farm, we knew this was the place to begin the next phase of our journey. With the support of the farm, we started preparing to set up our very first Black Soldier Fly (BSF) container farm.
This container farm will be a core part of our mission to reduce food waste and create a sustainable system where organic matter is transformed into valuable resources. By converting food waste into high-protein larvae, we will produce feed for our chickens, completing a circular system.
Egg Production
While our container farm is taking shape, we’ve already made strides with an egg production.
The chickens we’ve brought to the farm are thriving, laying an abundance of fresh eggs every day.
What makes it even more special is that soon, these chickens will be fed by the larvae from our container farm, creating a closed-loop system that minimizes waste and maximizes the health of both the chickens and the land.

Waterfall Farm also offers charming accommodation, giving guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural surroundings while experiencing natural living firsthand.
